This is where you’ll find information about deadlines, pricing, and other crucial conference components. Please explore these links to find the answers to frequently asked questions, and be sure to reach out to our Director of Delegations, Rebecca Wasserman, if you have unresolved concerns or if you are a new delegation considering attending the conference. Please note that all YMC 2023 programming will be in-person this year.

Registration for YMC 2023 is now closed. Thank you in advance for registering as accurately as possible the number of delegates attending. Accurate registration ensures we can accommodate everyone in the Omni hotel.

If you have not already paid the delegation fee, please pay through the PayPal link below or send a check postmarked by October 6th. After this date, a $50 late fee will be applied. Please note we cannot process any refunds once payment is received.

Pricing & Forms

Regular Registration Fees

Delegation fee (school fee): $135

Delegate fee (per delegate): $125

These fees may be paid via PayPal or check. Please note there is an upcharge of 3% if paying via PayPal to cover processing fees. For more information on payment, please click here.

Delegation Late Fee

Delegation late fee (school fee): $50

Delegation fees must be postmarked by October 6th to avoid the late fee.

As always, YMC can subsidize the cost of the delegate fee for students expressing need. To apply for financial aid, please fill out the financial aid application or let us know if you think your students might qualify. Questions regarding financial aid should be sent to the current Treasurer, Alec Aceves-Acosta, at treasurer@yalemodelcongress.org.

Waivers and Documents

Liability and permission forms are now available. Advisors should receive an email from Rebecca Wasserman to clarify the process of turning in these forms. If you do not receive this email, Rebecca can be reached at delegations@yalemodelcongress.org. The forms can be found below.

Online Committee Form: Assign delegates to committees by filling out this form, which will be available on October 9th and due by October 27th. Earlier submission is preferred. Please address any questions to Rebecca Wasserman at delegations@yalemodelcongress.org.

YMC 2023 Sample Bill: Attached is a sample bill for your reference. A blank bill template is available here. Please do not submit bills following any other format (e.g., Princeton MC). The deadline for bill submission is November 10th.

Financial Aid

Delegates can apply for financial aid to cover the delegation fee. Delegates should fill out the financial aid application and select what types of aid they would like to apply for. Delegates should use the further information section to explain their desire to attend Yale Model Congress. Forms must be submitted by October 13 at 11:59 pm ET for Round I applications and November 3 at 11:59 pm ET for Round II applications. If you do not receive confirmation that we have received your application, you will not be considered for financial aid. Delegates who apply for financial aid receive an additional two weeks to pay their delegate fee.

Financial Aid Decision Process

Yale Model Congress will decide financial aid awards by October 15th at 11:59 pm ET for Round I applications and November 5th at 11:59 pm ET for Round II applications at the latest and notify applicants and their advisors of our decision by email. Decisions are based on demonstrated need, desire to attend the conference, and prospective benefits of attendance. Depending on the delegate’s application, we may award partial or full delegate fee waivers.
